Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (KMRCL) is a Government of India enterprise implementing Kolkata (East-West Metro) Corridor Project. KMRCL’s Project upon completion will connect Salt Lake Sector-V in the East and Howrah Maidan in the West. There shall be 6 nos elevated stations and 6 nos underground stations. The line will have interchange with existing terminals of Indian railways at Howrah and Sealdah.

Qualification :- ITI Pass in Relevant Trades
Total Vacancies :- 128 Posts
- Fitter: 82 Posts
- Electrician: 28 Posts
- Machinist: 09 Posts
- Welder: 09 Posts
Age Limit (As on 22 January 2025)
- The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age
Age Relaxation:
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in the case of SC/ST candidates.
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years in the case of OBC-NCL candidates.
- For PwBD: The upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years
- The upper age limit is relaxable by an additional 10 years for Ex-SM (ex-serviceman) up to the extent of service rendered in Defense Forces plus 03 years provided they have put in a minimum of 06 months service at a stretch.
Selection Process :-
- The selection process is based on merit.
- The Select list for Document Verification (DV) will be based on the average of marks in the Matriculation and ITI.
- The merit list will be prepared trade unit/community-wise. Candidatos must noto that no contralizad morit fist will be ormed.
- A merit list will be drawn for eligible candidates taking the average of percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.

- Date of Publication of notification on website: 25.11.2024
- The opening date of the online application: 23.12.2024 at 11:00hrs.
- Closing date of online application: 22.01.2025 up to 17:00hrs.
