Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW) (formerly Diesel Loco Modernization Works (DMW)) is a production unit of the Indian Railways located at Patiala in the Indian state of Punjab. It was set up in the year 1981 as “Diesel Component Works” (DCW) to meet the demand of maintaining the Railway’s diesel locomotives.

Position :- Trade Apprentice
Job Location :- Patiala, Punjab
Stipend :- As Per Govt. Norms
Qualification :- 10th + ITI Pass in Relevant Trade
Total Vacancies :-
- Electrician: 130 Posts
- Mechanic Diesel: 30 Posts
- Machinist: 20 Posts
- Fitter: 40 Posts
- Welder: 30 Posts
Age Limit (as on 07 October 2024) :-
- For General : 15 to 24 Years
Upper age limit is relaxable by :
- For OBC Candidates: 3 Years
- For SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
- For PH Candidates: 10 Years

- No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PWD/Women Applicants.
